Business Transformation / Commercial Strategy / Operations / International Growth

Turning complex creative and commercial environments into structured, scalable systems.

01

// Core Statement

Engagements begin at the point where concept, business direction, market context and commercial reality begin to require structure.

I work across business transformation, operations and commercial strategy to build the structures, operating models and commercial frameworks required for growth and performance.

Operating at the intersection of brand, business, operations and commercial performance, my work focuses on bringing together elements often treated in isolation and translating them into a coherent operating logic.

Structured across:

  • Brand
  • Operations
  • Commercial Architecture
  • Market Expansion

With more than two decades of cross-industry experience across brand-led, hospitality, cultural and development environments, my work centres on brand development, repositioning, transformation and the design of commercial and operational frameworks, moving between early-stage concepts, new ventures and established organizations.

At its core is the ability to connect concept, brand, systems, production, market and revenue into one coherent structure. This includes translating creative ideas into viable business models, structuring operations, aligning production and distribution, developing revenue streams through licensing and collaborations, and positioning businesses for changing markets and international growth.

I typically enter where direction requires precision or where complexity begins to obscure potential. Depending on the mandate, this can extend from strategic direction and structural development through to implementation and transformation.

The objective remains consistent: to establish structures that are conceptually sound, operationally resilient and commercially effective.

*A selected track record across international brands, commercial media environments, hospitality, culture and transformation... not a complete list.

Over the past two decades, my work has developed across environments in which strong creative identities and concepts need to translate into commercially viable and enduring formats.

My experience includes Rick Owens, Chloé and Nina Ricci within Puig Group, American Apparel and Purple Fashion Magazine, providing a foundation across brand development, positioning, production, distribution, licensing and commercial collaboration.

This expanded into hospitality and complex experience-led environments through Schloss Elmau and Orania Berlin, and into large-scale cultural transformation through MaHalla, where I led the transformation of a large-scale industrial site into a functioning cultural and event destination, bringing together concept, programming, production, operations and revenue-generating formats.

More recent work extends this approach into hospitality and destination development, emerging ventures and international commercial contexts, including the development of brand and business structures, investment positioning, operating frameworks and market-facing concepts.

Across these environments, the underlying work remains connected: understanding the potential of a concept or organization, identifying where brand, operations and commercial logic are misaligned, and building the structures required to move from potential into execution.

Central to this approach is the alignment of creative direction, operational structure and financial performance, from licensing and collaboration models to production and distribution systems, new revenue formats and international market positioning.

Operating across Europe, the Middle East and Asia, I work across industries where strong concepts, brands and experiences require the structure to function, scale and sustain relevance over time.

04

// Transformation & Execution

Typically entering at the point where clarity, structure and direction begin to drift apart.

Transformation becomes necessary when creative ambition, operational reality and commercial performance no longer support one another, or when a strong concept has reached the point where it needs a more rigorous structure to move forward.

My role is to connect those layers.

  • Concept
  • Positioning
  • Experience
  • Operations
  • Production
  • Market
  • Commercial Application

Rather than treating concept, positioning, experience, operations, production and market dynamics as separate disciplines, I approach them as parts of one operating system. This allows strategic decisions to move beyond presentation and into implementation, commercial application and measurable execution.

The mandate can begin with an early-stage concept requiring a viable operating and commercial model, an established organization requiring repositioning, or a complex environment in which growth, direction or performance has become fragmented.

The focus is not simply on identifying what needs to change, but on establishing the structure required to make that change operational.

// Scope

  1. 01Brand building and repositioning across industries, business models and market contexts
  2. 02Transformation of concepts into operationally and commercially viable formats
  3. 03Development of operating models connecting positioning, experience, production, delivery and market execution
  4. 04Commercial planning, including pricing, margin logic, conversion and revenue architecture
  5. 05Design of licensing, partnership and collaboration structures as integrated revenue drivers
  6. 06Alignment of production, distribution and supply chain with commercial objectives and growth dynamics
  7. 07Strategic development of hospitality, destination and experience-led concepts
  8. 08International market positioning, expansion and partnership development
  9. 09Resolution of structural inefficiencies impacting performance, execution and scalable growth
  10. 10Selected strategic and project-based leadership across transformation, new ventures and international expansion

// Workshops & Guest Lectures

The sessions draw from practice, where creative direction, operational reality and commercial performance are required to work as one.

Rooted in more than two decades of cross-industry experience across brand-led, cultural, hospitality and commercial environments, the workshops and guest lectures translate practical experience into frameworks that can be applied to emerging talent, founder-led ventures and established organizations.

At the centre is a fundamental question: how does a strong idea become something that can function, differentiate and perform in the real world?

Concept, brand, positioning, experience, operations, production and market dynamics are approached as one connected system, with particular focus on commercial strategy, revenue logic, economic viability and execution.

The sessions are not based on a fixed academic methodology. Each context is approached individually, drawing from real operating environments and examining what holds, what needs to shift, and how commercial and operational structures can support creative integrity rather than compromise it.
